BIG FIGHT AGAINST OSAKA

The first set against Naomi Osaka (1 WTA) was a close one. Sasha was down with a break 3-5, but managed to break back for 5-5. But on the tie-break Osaka was a bit lackier and took the first set 6-7 (3-7) in 53 minutes.

Aliaksandra continued to do the right things and that worked out in the second set as Sasha has broken Osaka twice and took the set with the score 6-2 just in 33 minutes.

Unfortunately, in the beginning of final set Sasha lost her serve and could not break back till the end of the match. In the final game at 2-5 when Sasha was serving to stay in the match Osaka broke one more time and closed the match with the score 6-7 (3-7), 6-2, 2-6 in 2 hours 7 minutes.

That was a great match from Sasha. Hopefully, she will take all the best from this tournament and the match agaist Osaka. Next week Sasha will play in Bronx. We will continue to support Sasha!
