Aliaksandra and Victoria have played with each other only one match before US OPEN and have not won a match! But after not the best results in singles they are showing amazing tennis in doubles in New York! On their road to doubles semifinal they have beaten Flipkens/Larsson, Townsend/Osuigwe, Collins/Perez and today added their biggest win over 3 seeds Dabrowski/Xu in 1 hour 51 minutes with final score 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.

It is just a wonderful result for Sasha and Victoria. Also it is Sasha’s best result at Grand Slam after 4 round in singles at Wimbledon last year. Congratulations, girls! For the spot in the final our tandem will face Azarenka/Barty. One more intriging match is coming up.
