Doubles quaterfinal in Rome

Aliaksandra ane Lesia are through into the quaterfinal in Rome after beating Sabalenka/Mertens.
Aliaksandra and Lesia Tsurenko (26 WTA) faced Sabalenka/Mertens in Rome who have won both Indian Wells and Miami this year. But Sasha and Lesia knew how to deal with this tandem. The first set Aliaksandra and Lesia won just in 34 minutes with the score 6-3.
In the second set Sasha and Lesia also were feeling condfident and won the match 6-3, 6-2 in 1 hour and 5 minutes.
Congaratulations to the tandem for reaching first quaterfinal together. For the place in the semifinal they will face the winners of the match Azarenka/Barty – Strycova/Hsieh.
