The match against Venus Williams

It was a difficult first round match against Venus Williams (55 WTA). Aliaksandra tried to show aggressive game, it was successful from time to time. But in the first set Sasha lost her serve 3 times and Venus won the set in 38 minutes with the score 3-6. Aliaksandra made 13 winners and 10 unforced errors while Venus had 7/4.

In the second set Aliaksandra tried to change the situation and had a couple of break points to be in the lead 3-0, but Venus managed to win her serve. Then Sasha continued to struggle with some unforced errors. Venus won the match in 1 hour and 26 minutes with the final score 3-6, 4-6.
